INTRODUCTION
Osmania Medical College is positioned in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. Established in the year 1846 as the Hyderabad Medical School, the institution is considered to be among the oldest medical schools in the world. Osmania university of Hyderabad was founded by Nizam of Hyderabad Nawab Mir Osman Ali Khan in 1919 A.D. and the university affiliates Osmania Medical College. This medical college is also affiliated to the NTR University of Health Sciences. Centrally located in the city of Hyderabad, the campus is comprised of a four-storied building where both the administrative as well as academic sections of Osmania Medical College are situated.

Osmania Medical College Admissions
The qualification for Osmania Medical College admissions vary based upon the course. For undergraduate admission, the applicant must have 10+2 or equivalent education with subject such as, Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology. Students are selected according to the common entrance test [EAMCET] rank. Prospective students applying for PG and PG-Diploma courses must have an MBBS degree from any medical college in India or an equivalent that have approval of MCI. Students for the post graduate courses get selected through a common entrance test which is conducted by the NTR University of Health Sciences.
