Criteria for Admission to XIME in Bangalore
Candidates who wish to get admission to the Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management (PGDBM) program offered XIME are required to have at least a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university. The candidates should have also obtained a minimum of 50% marks in all the subjects taken together. The minimum percentage is 45% for SC or ST candidates.
Candidates appearing for their final year examination in the current year and those awaiting their results can also apply.
Application Procedure
Candidates who wish to get admission to the post graduate program in management offered by XIME, Bangalore have to first obtain the application from and brochure.
- The forms can be collected from XIME or designated IMS learning centers on payment of Rs.750, either in cash or by a DD drawn in favor of XIME, Bangalore, payable in Bangalore. The forms can also be downloaded from the XIME website - www.xime.org. The filled-up forms are then to be sent to XIME along with a DD for Rs 750 drawn in favor of XIME, Bangalore.
- Interested candidates are also required to appear for the XAT that is conducted by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI), Jamshedpur. XAT is an All-India exam that is conducted at various centers all over the country. The XAT for 2009 was held on 6th January 2009.
- XIME also accepts CAT scores that are conducted by the IIMs.
- Candidates who clear the cut-off marks set by the institute are called for the group discussion and personal interview.
The PGDBM Program offered by XIME, Bangalore commenced on 23rd June in the year 2009.
Candidates are chosen for admission strictly on the basis of their academic record, XAT or CAT scores and their performance in group discussion and personal interview.
