Courses Offered
St. Joseph's College of Business Administration offers a full time post graduate program on Business Management - (PGDM). The course offers specialization in the fields of marketing, finance, human resource management and urban management.
SJCBA, Bangalore also offers the Executive PGDM program.
Admission to St. Joseph's College of Business Administration, Bangalore
- Candidates who wish to take admission to the post graduate programs offered by the institute are required to be at least a graduate in any discipline from a recognized University. The candidate should not have scored less than 50% marks in his or her qualifying degree.
- Prospective candidates who will be appearing for the final examination in their graduation level and those who are awaiting their results can also apply. Such candidates will be provided offer of admission only if the candidate obtains 50% marks in the final results.
- Prospective candidate are required to be proficient in the usage of computers and its applications such as word processing, spread sheets and databases.
- Candidates have to sit for the XAT, MAT, CAT or ATMA.
- The institute will give preference to candidates with work experience.
Application Procedure
- Candidates who wish to apply for the management programs offered by the institute have to first obtain the application forms and the prospectus from the college office by providing a payment of Rs. 500.
- Candidates can also alternatively download the application form and the prospectus from the website http://www.sjcba.edu.in/. The filled up application forms have to be sent to the college office along with a DD for Rs. 500 payable to St Joseph's College of Business Administration, Bangalore. The last date for submission of forms for the academic year 2009 was 15th January.
- The admission to the management programs are offered strictly based on the academic record, qualifying exams scores, group discussion and personal interview. The names of the selected candidates are put up on the college notice board and on the college website.
