Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad is popularly termed as IPE. Established in the year 1964 the institution deals with the study of policies and issues connected to Public Enterprises (PEs). Over the years, it has acquired a prominent place in the field of business education in India. Eligibility and Admission procedure in Institute of Public Enterprise, Hyderabad
PGDBM
- Candidates should sit for the Common Admission Test for taking admission to this course.
- Graduates with not less than 50% marks from any recognized university are eligible to apply. For SC, ST and disabled candidates 45% is the marks required for admission.
- Students appearing for their final year examination may also apply for admission.
- Selection depends on the over all performance of the candidates in the common admission test, personal interview and group discussion session.
- Application forms can be collected in person (Rs. 750) or by post (Rs.800 DD) from the Admissions officer, IPE, OU Campus, Hyderabad-500 007.
- The draft drawn should be payable at Hyderabad.
- A demand draft of Rs. 500 should be submitted along with the filled in downloaded form.
Important Dates
- 5th December, 2008 – Last date of issue of application forms;
- 8th December, 2008 – Last date of submitting completed applications;
- March 2nd week, 2009 – Group Discussion and Personal Interview;
- April 1st week, 2009 – Release of merit list;
- April 3rd week, 2009 – Acceptance of 1st list candidates;
- April 4th week, 2009 – Acceptance of 2nd list candidates;
- June 2nd week, 2009 – Beginning of 2009 academic session
PGDMRM
- Graduates and students appearing for their final year graduation examination are eligible to apply.
- 45% marks is required for SC, ST and physically challenged candidates.
- Candidates willing to take admission should sit for the GMAT,CET,CAT,XAT,MAT or any state level management examination.
- Admission depends on the performance of the students in the management entrance examination, personal interview round and group discussion session.
- Application forms can be collected in the same manner as mentioned for the above programme.
MBA (PE)
- Graduates with at least 45% marks in aggregate from any recognized university and not less than three years of experience are eligible to apply.
- Candidates should not be less than 25 years and not more than 50 years of age.
- Candidates need to qualify the Integrated Common Entrance Test (ICET).
Placement
Highest salary offered is Rs. 6.53 lakh per year
Average Salary offered is Rs. 3.60 lakh per year
